Waterbottles, Hats, and Snacks

Please ensure that your child comes to school everyday with a hat and waterbottle. This is especially important over the next few weeks as they will be having P.E. outside.

Also, sometimes students eat the majority of their lunch as their snack at 9:40. Then, they do not have enough to eat at lunch time. Sometimes the issue is that they're not sure what portion is the snack and which is the lunch. Please talk with your child about what you are packing for their snack and lunch. In the past, parents have put the snack in a ziplock bag labeled snack or put it in a different container to help their children know which is the snack.

Finally, check in with your children every few weeks and ask if they're still hungry after they eat lunch or if they need you to pack more. During lunch duty, I have had students raise they're hands stating that they've eaten everything but are still hungry.

As always, thank you for your support!
