Hello Families!
It's been a whirlwind so far this
year, but I have enjoyed meeting all of you and your children. They are a
lively little bunch full of energy and enthusiasm toward learning. Yay! We will be
spending the two to three weeks getting to know each other through classroom
community activities such as learning classmates' names, building classroom
rules, and learning what first grade is "all about." I have been
spending time setting classroom expectations, routines, and procedures so that
the classroom is a safe and respectful place in which to learn.
A few reminders...please send your
child to school with a hat and water bottle so they are well-prepared for this
hot, humid Muscat weather! Also, I have received many Child Information Sheets
from you specifying how your child is to get home each day. If there is
a change in pick up, please email me by 1:00 or send a note in the Take Home
Folder.
I know the first week of school is
hectic and it can be tricky for families to get back into the swing of things.
Please do not hesitate to email me with any questions or concerns you have. I am happy
to help as we work toward a partnership to ensure your child has a fabulous
first grade year!
